Anthropology 480: Physical Anthropology (Honors) |
- Synopsis: This course is a seminar-style introduction to the science of physical anthropology. Topics will include: the field of anthropology; the scientific method; genetics and inheritance; natural selection; principles and mechanics of evolution; evidence of evolution; modern human variation; living primates; and the fossil evidence for human evolution. This section uses an intensive instructional methodology designed to challenge motivated students.
