Well it's a new semester and there seems to be alot of buzz around the Honors Club. We have a number of new members just itching to get involved and continuing members looking to provide insight and experiences.

We had our first meeting this Thursday, Sept. 3^rd and there are a number of activities planned. As mentioned previously I converted the website from a static HTML site to a dynamic database driven Content Management System called Joomla.

Suzanne and I will be working to add more functionality and graphic flourishes over the semester and we look to the membership to guide us in adding functionality

One of the first changes is this blog, where any member of the club who wants to, can contribute content. Once you've created a user account and requested Author access you can add an article to the blog chronicling a project, addressing an Honors issue or simply reporting about life on the SCC campus.

Hope you all have a great semester and we can make a difference in the world around us through Honors Service projects
